The Great Debates

A weekly debate podcast featuring Steve Hely and Dave King, two Harvard-educated TV writers who debate the great issues of the day, from excruciating minutiae to grand topics of the universe. We’ve produced over two hundred episodes, some highlights include: “The Nickel is the Worst Coin”, “If You Don’t Know What to Eat, Just Go to Subway,” “It Would Be Cool if the Pope Had an Affair with Maura Tierney”, “The Alphabet is in the Right Order”, and “Fire Has Done More Harm Than Good.”

One of my favorite parts of this podcast is they let me pick the song at the end. For the Subway one, I picked Bruce Springsteen’s “Hungry Heart.” For “Cool Dudes Go To Therapy” I went with the Beatles’ Help! For “Sneezing is a Pleasant Experience,” I chose John Mellencamp’s “Hurts So Good.”
