NotHangover: Unfriend Booze

Alcohol promises a lot. Fun. Excitement. Courage. On any given night, you could think alcohol is your best friend. You could briefly get what it promises you. But afterwards. Oh God. Afterwards. When the toll wrecked on your body becomes painfully clear. A splitting headache, crushing fatigue, suddenly being annoyed by the greatest thing to ever exist: the sun? That’s not a friendship. That’s a toxic transaction. Frankly, we’re sick of letting toxic people do what they want. So we think the time has come to call out these fake “friends” for what they really are. It’s time to hit the road, Jack. And Jim. And Jose.

A Warm Unwelcome

Building on the incredible recent discovery that Cerveza Cristal beer was inserted into the original Chilean airings of Star Wars, we go back into moments from movies where alcohol plays a major plot point. We insert a shot of a character reaching for a bottle of NotHangover in the movie and then an abrupt quick cut to: “THE END.” “Unfriend Booze”.

Some movies we could use:

  • The Hangover (Trilogy)

  • Leaving Las Vegas

  • Flight (Denzel Washington)

  • Alice in Wonderland
